Specialist contractors were coordinated for the resin wall finishes, fire-alarm systems, secure access controls and door installations. All works were delivered with careful consideration for the secure healthcare environment, resulting in a robust, safe and high-quality facility suitable for both patients and clinical staff.
Seamless delivery in a live NHS medium secure hospital
Working within a live medium secure hospital, it was essential to minimise disruption while maintaining the highest standards of safety, security and compliance with NHS procedures. The surrounding clinical areas remained fully operational throughout the refurbishment, requiring careful planning and close collaboration with hospital staff to protect patients, staff and ongoing services.
We maintained regular communication with the Trust’s clinical and estates teams, adapted our working methods and hours where required, and implemented strict access, segregation and housekeeping controls. This ensured the works were delivered safely, discreetly and respectfully within the sensitive healthcare environment.
